This scene highlights the owl’s camouflage skills and the serene beauty of its forest habitat. During our vacation, a friend reached out with exciting news about a great gray owl sighting. After some back-and-forth, we learned the approximate location and embarked on a three-hour drive to the area. After an hour of searching, we finally spotted the majestic owl. We watched from a distance as it skillfully hunted, captured some stunning photos, then made our way back to our hotel in Canmore.
