This image is literally one in a million!
Captured shortly after sundown on June 20, 2016, this photograph looks north along the Welland Canal. A long exposure technique was employed to immortalize the dramatic lightning strike. Although it may appear as if the lightning struck the bridge, it was actually miles away. Since taking this shot, I’ve made it a point to visit the canal whenever a storm rolls in!
