The AC Cobra, known in the US as the Shelby Cobra or AC Shelby Cobra, is a remarkable sports car produced by the British firm AC Cars, powered by a robust Ford V8 engine. Since 1962, it has been produced intermittently in the United Kingdom and, more recently, in the United States.
