Roughly translated, “Cuyahoga” means “crooked river” in the Haudenosaunee language. The river in question, runs from the south shore of Lake Erie through Cleveland, Ohio. Though this ship may not have been built there, it likely passes by the area on its travels through the Great Lakes.
